Best New Year’s Eve memory: at the stroke of midnight, years ago, a neighbor marched out to the middle of our street and played a flawless solo rendition of “Taps” on his trumpet and then ceremoniously marched back inside to much applause from the hood … awesome
GOT ME!!!!! I would not have guessed that ending in a million years Brett. TOTALLY AWESOME – I think I might do that on NEW YEARS EVE. Great laugh – glad I wasn’t drinking anything when I read it!!
Maybe we’ll open the windows and play our Korean drums inside…
