If that was me, I’d be staying millions of miles from D.C. for the foreseeable future!!

A great idea for a number of reasons. The MAGAt’s won’t listen, of course, so those that don’t get arrested or shot for insurrection are likely to catch Covid.

Thank you, Donald Trump, for making us a third rate third world country.

Where we fear to go to the seat of our government.

    For fear for our lives.

Just how obsequious do you have to be to still do Trump’s bidding when he just sent a lynch mob after you?

The differences in intelligence between people in the 10th%ile, 50th%ile, and 90+%ile are so ridiculously large. It’s easy for truly stupid people to ‘pass’ in society. You’d likely not know how poorly they’d score on something like a GED exam. I believe MAGA supporters are actually just significantly less intelligent on the whole, or alternatively, in the case of Hawley, Cruz and others, are in that 90+% and are ruthlessly exploiting how stupid this huge mass of 75 million people are. They are people who are easily fooled, easily manipulated, and likely don’t have any sense whatsoever of the actual larger functional structures of a society.

Hitler used the same tactic of making lies really simple and really big and just repeating them over and over and over. That shit still works on stupid folks. I guarantee many at the Capitol last week couldn’t describe how laws are made, how elections work, what democracy is, or what Nazi Germany was like to see how similarly they behave in their adoration of a conman.

His father was a conman. His children are too. The Trumps are just a gene pool full of excrement and these MAGA hats are dipping their cups in to take a full swig.

I’ve been watching the House proceedings today. There are quite a few Republicans who are down playing tRumps words that incited the insurrection. As well as quite a few who are saying an impeachment will further divide the country and that this is a time for uniting and healing.

tRump knew exactly what he was doing when he gave his speech. He knew his words would incite the crowd to action and result in an assault on Congress. Don’t be deceived by these hollow words from Republicans who are in fear of their lives because of hateful, threatening messages they have received and the continuing pressure the WH is exerting on them.

This is a time for unity. It is a time to unite to save the Republic.

Healing? Our country is infected by the cancerous cult of personality, namely Donald J tRump. And it has metastasized into the heart of the Republican party. Healing can only begin after there is an excision of that cancer everywhere it may exist.

An Impeachment, Senate trial, conviction, an banning from federal office for tRump is only the beginning.

There is much work to be done to return America to a beacon of Democracy and Justice.

We need Supermen and Superwomen to stand up and fight for Truth, Justice, and the American Way!!!

Collaborators inside the Capitol can’t be ruled out.

“As people rushed out of other buildings on the Capitol grounds, staffers in Pressley’s office barricaded the entrance with furniture and water jugs that had piled up during the pandemic. Groh [Sarah Groh, her chief of staff] pulled out gas masks and looked for the special panic buttons in the office.

“Every panic button in my office had been torn out — the whole unit,” she said, though they could come up with no rationale as to why. She had used them before and hadn’t switched offices since then. As they were escorted to several different secure locations, Groh and Pressley and her husband tried to remain calm and vigilant — not only of rioters but of officers they did not know or trust, she said."

Props to Representatives in da’ House.

“It was there that [Representative Lori] Trahan learned about the acts of bravery during the attack: the combat veterans like Representative Ruben Gallegos of Arizona, who had helped elderly and scared members put on their gas masks as they fled.”

Best idea than needlessly risking you life to show what a brave fool you are as president.

And Trump sets another record, not only has he told (by far) the most lies as the President but now he is the only one to get Impeached twice, Ten Republicans voted for it in the House. Let us hope he is the first convicted and we can wait on his sedition/insurrection charges until after New York State is done with theirs. I’m not sure if there is a Statute of Limitations on those types of charges, but even if there is a couple years won’t matter, let them hang over his head as he settles his other criminal and civil cases.
