A shrink? Working from home? I am sure her advice will really have effect. Not. People with emotional problems prefer someone close to talk to, not someone far away who can easily be distracted,
It won’t work. People always think those who work from home don’t really work. They think since you’re home you’re free to do me this favour (like babysit my kids for an hour or two). Also your kids will be running in and out bothering you. Happens in “Pajama Diaries” all the time. Also the housework will call when you see dirty laundry piled up. Maybe these days with more people having switched to working at home due to covid these problems aren’t as bad as they used to be.
