Goldie looks extremely peaceful like my “Andy Cat” (our latest stray before Amy’s girls) but could go Elvis and give a “kiss” (I call it “going leviathan”) at any minute so one expects to be awoken from dreams at any time 24-7!

I was wondering where Elvis had been all week!!

This morning while I was getting ready for work Barney, my big Siamese, got in the kitchen for a few minutes before I realized it and got him out. On the kitchen counter I have a large Santa figurine whose brass wire glasses have come off. They were taped to his beard so they wouldn’t get lost until I can figure out how to reattach them. When I dragged Barney out from under the cabinet he had them. I thought of Elvis right away.

I think of Woman as a butterfly not a moth, so she technically is chrysalis-ing not cocooning. It really doesn’t matter whatever you call it, the Woman is so comfy surrounded by the heart blanket, boys and girl. Ah, what luxury.

When I do that, it’s a whole pizza instead of just one slice.

Also, letting out hot pizza-smelly air.

That is exactly what is happening on my bed as we speak. The power of the fuzzy blanket is immense.

how I would love to spend the day doing.

The only time I’ve cocooned is when I run a temp because I’m cold. Otherwise, if I’m cold, I just turn up the heat, or dress warmer. Occasionally, I’ve wrapped a lapgahn around my legs.

Nothing like spending the day in my jammies in the month of January.

Being a great reporter, I see Elvis is willing to go “undercover” for a story!

My calendar arrived yesterday and and it’s adorable! I particularly love the new twist on one of my favourite video games of yesteryear (actually, the ONLY video game I used to play), seeing RCO included, and all the little pics on rhe special days—esp our favourite pirate ballerina. Another great jpb, Georgia. I only hope that next year’s version comes out early enough for me to send it as a Christmas gift.

We have one cat who suckles fuzzy blankets. The other does something even more unmentionable to them.

When my boys want the cocoon and I don’t have the throw around me they try to crawl under my knees.
