Is Puck excited about a PPButterfly or scared?

I can relate. For years I would take one weekend day per month and use that time to sleep in and then stay in bed all day reading a book, snacking, and napping. It was my way to reenergize and refresh myself mentally. Actually, now that I type this, I haven’t done this in quite some time and I’m well overdue. I’m planning on reviving this tradition this weekend!

The Woman looks pretty settled in to me.

Pucky is so excited! I hope he’s not disappointed. Having your dreams dashed can be pretty upsetting.

After taking a long nap after eating pizza by the slice

You may have to get up to change the channel or use the facility

You might hear footsteps running looking for their kibble

As they awake from lovely napping

And chase the slightly empty kibble bowl for lunch!

As they ran searching after treats or other goodies

Through the long-abandoned ruins of the books that fell from shelves

If you remember something there

That glided past you followed close by lots of zoomin’

Silly cats. That’s not a pizza cocoon. That’s an oddly shaped wrestling mat. Now pounce upon it and begin the cat wrestling match.

Either that or it’s one of those new fancy cat claw scratching post.

Puck’s eyes define wonder and magic.

Ironically the cats could pull the cocoon routine all day and no one would think twice about it

Stretching her legs means she wishes to get comfortable, Puck.

Sparkle-eyed Puck! Squee level Vote: (1) robber mouse sighting, (2) toe beans, (3) BoCH or BoCC, (4) giant Beatrix toe beans, (5) off-the-chart (flying rear toe beans, baby Elvis, etc).

Is Elvis going to be grumpy about being disturbed – the cold air will definitely be let in – or will he be dazzled by the PPButterfly?

I plan on entering my cocoon after the plumber leaves today.

These cats are more likely to see a cagey Bee problem.

I spent much of today in a pajama cocoon (no pizza) after a medical procedure this morning. Don’t worry — totally routine, but it did involve anesthesia. Fortunately, I had Dr. Albert A. Cat to oversee my recovery once I got home.

If she’s eaten the pizza like the caterpillars outside our apartment have stripped the tree outside then it’s going to be a beautiful thing… And a big thing.
