Just in case you do have one of these old CRTs around – there are dangerous voltages on the picture tube that can stay there for days or weeks after the set is turned off. 10000 – 25000 volts dangerous. Don’t disassemble one. (Also, don’t follow nutjobs across police lines on federal property. Especially if you ever hope to fly commercial again.)
