I listened to a presentation about a merchandise club many years ago. Discounts! They said. As a young adult I was so gullible! Luckly I had little money, and I wised up before I signed on the dotted line. As I walked away, the further I got, the better I felt!
Just yesterday I got one of those “enjoy a free meal at **** restaurant on us!” things in the mail. I’m almost tempted to go simply because the place has good Mexican food.
My parents once almost got suckered into some sort of timeshare. They came to their senses before the final commitment, thank god. Sales agent called, tried to talk them back into it, and when my very polite mom very politely declined, the scumbag agent called her a loser.

A friend used to go to those presentations for fun, saying “I don’t think so.” He had a garage full of patio furniture from those presentations.
One day he was mentally weak and spent the rest of his life trying to unload an October timeshare in the Poconos.

Is anybody ever happy they bought a timeshare?
