I didn’t know Ed’s Bikes had a kitchen. Serve them dry stale kibble. That’ll be payback. All except baby Oliver of course. He gets shrimp tails au gratin.
National Cuddle Up Day. That’s every day for me & my cats. I can’t sit down for one minute in my chair in the living room before at least one or two cats climb on my lap for a cuddle.
National Bean Day. I like green beans, but my very favorite beans are jelly beans. Especially the orange ones.
One of my three visits yesterday was from a nurse. I told her how upset I was about running out of energy starting around noon. She just stared at me for a few long minutes and then exclaimed that I was her 8th grade middle school science teacher. She recognized me by my voice.
After showing me pictures of her two kids, husband and black Labrador, she said what I was going through was perfectly normal. I am fighting cancer and am nearly 70. She said to quit pushing myself so hard. This is essentially what many of you have said in your emails. Thank you.

Annie’s a sweet little girl who’s helping them out. I’ve fed stray & feral cats for years. I had one that it took about 8 years before he trusted me just enough to touch an ear once, and his head once. Probably a total of 4 seconds. But he knew he was safe, and he knew he’d be fed whenever I saw him. I’m not even sure how many other cats we’ve either fed or taken in over the years.
