Reminds me of classic “Futurama” where Leila meets a one-eyed alien Prince Charming who rapidly turns into Al from “Married … with Children”. The big joke was that Katey Sagal, who is the voice of Leila, was “Peg Bundy” in that sitcom.
Reminiscent of some of the great work of Mad magazine (they would have called this One Day in a Fairy Tale). Also reminds me of The Carol Burnett Show. They did a very funny sketch about Snow White and the Prince, 15 years after they presumably lived “happily ever after.” Carol was Snow White, a little the worse for wear (complete with sagging boobs costume), Harvey Korman was a less-than-masculine prince, and guest Jack Gilford played Dopey.

Strange how they always leave this part out when they write the stories.

Scrubbing floors in the wedding dress? How long has she been wearing that, since the prince had to take some time getting that fat.

Still a lady in chains. Simply exchanged her iron chains for gold chains.

She should “crown” him in a different, and more painful manner.

Why does her butt shrink in the third panel?
