Ironically, Cindy Davis actually married “Charley” who became an SNL cast member and later a famous actor whose name was… Will Ferrell! And now you know the rest of the story (except for being 2 feet taller and a helluva lot more hairy).
I understand this panel depicts what took place in Queens just after WWII. I further understand that the girl who brought Charley home & Charley himself ultimately “got together” over the long, humid 1945 Labor Day Weekend, with temperatures hovering between 75°-86°, resulting in a “blessed event” on 14 June 1946 at Jamaica Hospital in Queens. This goes a long way to explain the genetic genesis of a great deal of recent American history.
