I refuse to comment on the grounds that it might incriminate me.

Sadly, Ms. Weinreit died of shock when Matt Tracy bungled a well known joke (but started it with “poker in the front.”)

At a restaurant where the server’s nametags read: “Montoni’s / [name] / Since 1981”. So of course I asked her what her name was before 1981, and she said, “Fred.” I guess she’s heard it before? I apologized: it’s a compulsion, I explained, when a guy reaches a certain age.

Reading Family Circus, nobody ever died of excessive hilarity. Other very safe strips are Marmaduke, Ziggy, Beetle Bailey… I’ll stop, too many to name.

“The sketch is framed in a documentary style and opens with Ernest Scribbler (Michael Palin), a British “writer of jokes”, creating and writing the funniest joke in the world on a piece of paper only to die laughing. His mother (Eric Idle) finds the joke, thinks it is a suicide note, reads it and also immediately dies laughing." — Monty Python …

What? Other people have my schtick? Or do I actually know you and you are plagiarising me?
