Hate to tell you, Frank, but you and Ernie are gonna be there a l-o-o-o-o-n-g time. Prayers for the fallen, those who care for them, and those who are still in the danger zone.
No masks, and no distancing. The vaccine doesn’t help if you’ve already got the virus, and by the looks of things, you’ll all have it by the time you get to the front of the line.
Got my first shot today. Signed up on line to get appointment. Took about 5 minutes to sign in and get vaccinated. Whoever runs the system here got it right.
I waited in a long line for an autographed book written by former President Carter. Everyone was instructed to not say a word when you finally got to him. The book was so short I had read it all the way through before I got to him.
Locally two people died within 24 hours of their first dose. The vaccine offered to me has been shown, in clinical trials, to lose more than 50% efficacy within six months, in my age group. I politely declined it.
I was lucky – a company I was doing work for let me get tickets for the stones at Anaheim stadium for $23.00 a piece. Going rate was 135.00 from scalpers.
In my case it was Deep Purple, Free, Manfred Mann Chapter Three and Pirana at Randwick Racecourse, Sydney in 1971. Tixs were a whole $3. Still got mine

I’d never wait in line for a Stones concert, but I HAVE waited in line for my favorite musical artists. Those WERE the days….sigh.

I’m hoping they keep relatively close to the appointment schedules that are being set up.
