Dropped Nefflix a year ago when they cut a series halfway. Getting to the end of interesting Disney’s earlier comedies. Amazon is going over to all IMDB before long, according to home screen clutter. Different streaming apps are corralling everything for renting.
Thank goodness for books. But I started with those 8 decades ago and could rely on them for excitement while my young mind conjuring images of the scenes described by the really good authors. Some of them are actually still in print, and others are found on ebook sites. All is not lost.
Every few years I go into a “media fugue” where I search various sources for media I have missed. After a month or so, I’m caught up and can get on with my life.
Thankfully, I never bothered trying to get to the beginning of NETFLIX…. I did get to the beginning of TUBI Kids were ‘Courageous Cat and Minute Mouse’ provide anti-frog acts of defense.
I notice ads for a lot of streaming services: Disney Plus, Amazon Plus, Discovery Plus. If programming leaves cable / satellite will we have to subscribe to multiple streaming services instead? Can I still get 100 Shark Vacuum Commercial channels?

Reminds me of the commercial “Congratulations! You have reached the end of the internet!”

I don’t mean to brag, but this like the 10th end of the world event that I have survived.
