There IS a difference.
We called mixed breeds mutts and Heinz 57. Now they are called designer dogs.
Reader’s Digest had a story some years ago titled what your vet knows that you don’t <i/i>. One of the items listed was: your vet knows that your designer dog is a mutt. Please stay safe and well my friends.
The cat equivalent is “moggy”.
Silly people pay a small fortune for designer dogs that are plain old mutts. I will continue to adopt shelter dogs. Best out there! :-)
