napkins in my case

Well, when it’s a cold drink the coaster gets condensation on it and it gets all wet. It’s dumb.

So it’s a roll-a-coasters.

Mine is magazines, newsletters, catalogs,….

Well a lot of us have several more months to go before thinking about this one ;-)

Paper towels also make nice “china plates”, as well as “good linen napkins”.

this made me laugh, I have a folded paper towel under my coffee as we speak.I have a feeling the pluggers in this comic strip are much older then my 58 years, but we do have a lot in common LOL

I save the lids from peanut cans and use them as coasters…

Yeppers!

They also make good dry snack bowls/plates.

DANG IT! They’re looking in my windows, again!

Coasters?… On a totally unrelated note, “distressed” coffee table for sale…

Mine are Princess House from years ago lined w/ folded luncheon napkins. I didn’t buy the stuff to sit in a box. Those babies are heavy duty and can take a beating before breaking. Plus, the napkins absorb the condensation thus not dripping on me.

And a lot easier to blow your nose on than those store bought coasters.. or the ones you nicked from the bar.

I’m going to need time to absorb this one.

Naw, I use old AOL Cd’s, and recovery disks from long-discarded computers.

Nope. They just soak through and cause a ring anyway.

I even keep a roll on the shelf under my coffee table.

Sandwich plates, too.

Coaster, snack/dessert plate . . .
