Reminds me of Ferris Beuller playing the oboe (or is it clarinet) in the morning before he goes out on his adventure with Cameron and Sloane through out Chicago. “Never had a lesson.”
Little known fact – Petey Otterloop changed his name, invented a new past to cover his tracks and is nowadays known as Peter Brotzmann. His musical style remains much the same.

As far as I know, I never pestered my trombonist older brother to play something during his practices.

I can hear the squawks and squeaks. Long ago memories of people learning to play reed instruments. Fond memories.

“Tiger Rag” would be a good piece for a trombonist.
