Somebody at an intersection who is not crossing can be confusing to drivers turning right or left because you never know if he will change his mind and cross or which direction.
I have 14 rose bushes on my property, 10 of them are in a raised planter along the front sidewalk, 3 of them are strongly scented, the others less so. I encourage my passing neighbors to pause and sniff them—that’s why I planted them so close to the sidewalk. If they make admiring comments I offer to cut a bloom for them to take home—there are many kitchens in my neighborhood that have been scented by one of my roses.
A cleverly disguised reminder to husbands everywhere that Valentine’s Day is Saturday. Fortunately because of covid-19 it isn’t safe to take her out to a nice restaurant.
