Old Spice to day is not the Old Spice boomers will remember their fathers using. But the genuine original Old Spice is available through eBay from India where they bought a license to produce it. It’s the old guys’ secret weapon for old girls.
I tried Hai Karate and English Leather in my youth, but returned to Old Spice. Like MeGoNow says, it’s not quite the original like when it was made by Gulton. I think P&G has it now. Plus, now they’re doing like everyone else does and producing it in about a dozen flavors…
Old Spice was Dad’s aftershave. I didn’t care for it. One Christmas my older cousin gave me a Jade East gift box. That had a scent I liked. Plus, I figured she knew what high school girls liked. Not that it helped me.
True story: John Simm (who played Sam Tyler in the show “Life on Mars”) wore Old Spice during the filming. It reminded him of his dad and took him back to the 1970s (when the show takes place.)
I blame spray cologne dispensers. Men don’t have the sense to “walk through the mist”. I had to talk to a guy at work, who left a scent that persisted hours after he left. “I only used one spray.” I explained that the cologne people were in the business of selling as much as possible, not dispensing an appropriate amount for direct application.

My dad used Old Spice in his younger days. I always liked the smell of it. I’ve smelled worse.

A schnoz that size could contain an extraordinary number of olfactory sensors. Earl should point that out to her sometime.
