Well my tablet won’t let me write what he calls the plural of mice.. ITS NOT MICROSOFT! GRRR.

I got caught in the rain this morning. I decided to walk an extra block when it started raining. I had nowhere to hide! Ick, I finally made it to the Community Center where I found shelter in the Bocce Ball Courts. But it was cold and the wind was blowing, so I trudged home, wet, cold, and bedraggled.

My mom’s birthday. She’d be 97 today is she were still alive. I still miss her sometimes.

To Zippykatz from yesterday’s comments who said, “Love jigsaw puzzles, dad and I did them since I was little. I have a whole bunch of them. They’ve gotten very popular during the lock down.”

I love jigsaw puzzles too and I also have a bunch of them. I bought some at a garage sale once for ten cents each. They were so anxious to get rid of the puzzles (which I guess were not selling well even at that bargain price) they told me to go ahead and take more for no extra charge. I took a few more, but I was riding my bike, so I was limited in how many I could tote home. I’ve bought most of my puzzles from garage sales or thrift stores.

And yes, they became so popular during the pandemic, stores were selling out of them. It took a long time for us to get our shelves restocked. The jigsaw puzzles were selling like toilet paper.

To sweetpeapete who said yesterday, in response to National Puzzle Day, “Does a sudoku count as a puzzle? I do quintuple ones…lots of fun.”

Yep, Crossword puzzles, Sudoku, etc. all count as puzzles. I’m impressed that you do the quintuple ones. I like the easy ones and I’ll do the medium ones, but once it gets to the hard ones, I leave those for someone else to do.

Every day I have either a visit from a nurse or a physical therapist. Or I have a Doctor’s visit. I can see clearly up to 8 or 9 feet. Beyond that, my vision blurs and doubled up. This is very alarming. I will squeeze posts in as time permits. Miss you guys.

Tolerance, thy name is Seymour. It’s a wonder Chesney’s open mouth isn’t at the lower end of Seymour’s tail.

Nice poem. I can see why Oliver likes it. Seymour certainly has a long tail. On another note, saw a wren, a junco, and four varied thrushes while out walking today.

I had a Maine Coon named Tchumsy. He had a knuckle in the center of his tail, I kid you not. He was a silly kitty. He often got stuck between the wall at corner of my bed my bedroom. He would sit on the back of a dining room chair and fall off. I often wondered if his comical behaviour was intentional. I miss him :’(
