Now if Andy disguises himself more than once daily, he’d keep getting his first free pint… until the barkeeper gets suspicious.

After Andy’s downed this “first” glass, will he just leave so he doesn’t have to buy one?

I’m sure Andy’s motivation will “dawn” on the bartender soon enough…

@Number Three Today’s strip IS funny, our HERO Mr Andrew Capp preying on the gullible is typical and got him a free pint , but as they say , fool me once ……..:o) my avatar again is my birth sign Leo roaring his head off because he is feeling well ,like I am , how was your day? our Manic Monday should be very busy but we should cope I hope ,this morning I swear that I had to do a double take while shopping with Connie at the mini-market a short bloke , looking just like Andy came into the shop cloth cap and all :o) I hope you brits have no sent him over here , that put us in a good mood , keep safe and thanks for caring young Lady.PS My pants are not on fire :o)

Is it the first pint every day? Andy could be entering at 11:30 pm, then get another free pint in half an hour.

Ah, I remember, from my long ago drinking days, those “First Pint Free” places. You’d order your tipple and they’d bring you two pints.

I noticed, in the window "Ales and Wine’, are there pubs in England that don’t serve hard liquor ? (Here we have such places, but they are usually more restaurant than bar.)

That’s too bright to be an English Pub… they’re supposed to be dark, wood panelled places.

I bet he’ll be back tomorrow wearing a false mustache!

Yeah sure that’s it the ambience, that’s what attracted me.

The morning smell of free beer!

There are never any stools in the pubs Andy frequents. Is this a thing in Hartlepool, where Andy lives? I’ve been to London and the pubs I visited had barstools.

My Monday was a nice day but as usual I didn’t do much. I might shift my derrière out tomorrow. Depending on the weather.

I’m really glad you are feeling better now. I’m about to have dinner soon which is veg and gravy. However I really miss not being able to go to the carvery.

Good name for a pub. The bartender must not be familiar with Andy, otherwise he wouldn’t have put out that free pint offer. On another note, today is my birthday.

You can pack a lot of ambience into a simple sign.
