You can use it if you can’t find your car in the parking lot. If I flash my lights, I can usually find it. I try that first because I don’t want everyone to know how stupid I am.
My across the street neighbor had a touchy alarm on his Cadillac. It would go off in the middle of the night if a truck rolled by. Only he was nearly deaf and never heard it and couldn’t hear us when we called him or knocked on his door. I’m not sure what the point was in his case. He was a good guy. RIP, Gene.
A while back we had neighbors with lots of cars in their driveway. A multi family home. If one alarm went off it would trigger others. Pretty funny some times.
My car is so old it has a real key. A copy now costs $8 because the hardware store doesn’t do it anymore, I have to go to the locksmith. Still better than the $150 they charge for a copy of a computer key. Although that’s a ridiculous price for what’s basically a very small flash drive.
That’s a panic button? I always thought that was there to cause you trouble when you go to unlock the door or open the tailgate/trunk so that you then have to race to open the door and shut off the alarm before someone calls the cops on you.

I had to take apart and modify the alarm button on my Nissan fobs- if you leaned against anything or sat on the keys, the car went off. Too touchy.

I don’t know…making your problem other people’s problem seems a valid strategy.

On some cars if you have the key fob in your pocket and move a certain way you can set the car alarm off!

Is it me, or are those comics getting somewhat repetitive in their nature?

I think they’re mostly for annoying the neighbors in the middle of the night.
