So I guess he’s going to direct the gas from the pipes in through the open window? He must have more tools than I suspected to open the gas lines, but I still don’t know what that thing is that’s partially through the window opening. Maybe some kind of remotely controlled mechanism? I don’t know. I do know that he is not going to want to be in the house, himself, when he lets the gas loose into the basement.
Well, I’m intrigued. The only thing I can think of is that he’s going to feed in some gas, and try to start a fire – which would end up an explosion… I bet we never find out what’s in the blue balloon…The plot’s building nicely. I just hope we don’t have a repeat of last week, and cut away to something else.
2-… I hope no one is looking out the window. Whooo, I think I tied this scarf too tight. Getting light headed…
3-… Now I lower my Meter Man remote camera to make sure there are no rats before I wriggle my way into the basement. SOME people claimed that Citywide fired me when I got too fat and NOT because I was involved in three house explosions. Well, I’ll show ‘em!
Gotta admit though, I’m not looking forward to stripping down and greasing up…
Most likely Pouch went looking for the gas lines so that if anyone spotted him, he could say he was there to check the meter. The window is a plus for him, an easy way into the house.
All of Aquarius’s product is kept in the basement. If the basement full of cocaine blows up it will could be a different type of “snow” fallling to the ground.
Pouch is succeeding at The 1312, but I’m not at all sure what he is succeeding in doing. Whatever his plan, the old building is co-operating—I hope not in own demise. Any serious gas explosion might kill dozens or even scores of hippies, not to mention Auntie Peggy Bellum and Cheesecake, Aquarius’s Min Squeeze.
The 1960’s Drug Culture and its dissatisfaction with everything except colored lights and withdrawal into drug induced monomania with the self esteem, entitlement, and political correctness makes it impossible to distinguish reality as it is from a reality warped by human emotion expressed as “That’s not the way it is supposed to be.” Let’s get back to the old time Under Ground Man who is about to enter a building unannounced because he forgot his key and he has to make his way up the reeking staircase to his “room”.

Meter readers. A thing of the past in my neighborhood. Electric was the last to change to remote-reading meters.

Not that Pouch will wreck the home but will soon wreak some havoc in order to get an opportunity to do a search for his prized b’loon.
