One of my cats loved to go for walks with me and was very hardy. However, on one day, it was very windy. We were doing OK until we went around the corner and encountered a terrific tailwind. When it started blowing all his fur in the wrong direction, he meowed a long, pitiful wail which I clearly interpreted as “This isn’t funnnnnn anymore.” He looked at me to make sure I knew where he was going, then took a short-cut between the blocks. When I went around the block, he was waiting for me. (I really miss that cat.)
