Thank you Lennie. I wasn’t aware he passed until you pointed it out. Huge loss.

One of the greatest. He left me open-jawed more than once.

Another giant has left the stage.

Nice tribute….I had that album in high school. (I play piano). RIP Chick.

I had to look him up. I didn’t know who he was and nothing was reported about him on the news. I guess they don’t care to report about anybody important.

I only got to see him in concert once, but it was an amazing night. I got there early with a friend of mine and we were hanging around outside because we couldn’t get in yet. Then some busses and cars drove up and it was Chick and his crew. We got to help them bring in their gear, watch them set up, and do the sound check and some rehearsal. It was wonderful. He was terrific.

Oh Lennie – this is wonderful! I saw Chick in Minneapolis at a small venue in the 80’s. I was in my 20’s and got HOOKED on Jazz fusion. RIP in beautiful peace Chick.

I proposed to my wife while playing the RTF album. She said yes 45 years ago.

Lenny, Homeslice is so lovely. Well fleshed and intelligent in his eyes. You draw him so impish but the photo….more Russian Orthodox. The shading the light on his forehead. Great.
