Opal’s a negative old hen. She always has something crappy to say to or about Earl. Really, she is just a character in a comic strip but she ticks me off. Dry up Opal. It will not kill you to encourage Earl instead of putting him down time and again!

I won’t use my Constantinople joke again. Nobody got it yesterday.

Crane, apparently, has never taken a photo with a phone. One does not hold it that way.

My mom used to call that kind of mustache a “cookie duster”.

and while you’re at it, get rid of Opal’s hideous polka dot purple, blouse and replace it with a stylish gray blouse with black trim!

I’d ask for a little more hair.

Lighten up, misogynists, they both peck away at each other for your amusement.

That’s the point of the comic. [sigh]

If you don’t find it amusing, you’re looking at the wrong comic.

Which is your error, not the cartoonist’s.

While you do the photoshop take the glasses off of both of them and give them eyes ;-)

Wait a minute. Is Sylvia standing in a puddle of urine?!? I might lose control of MY bladder, too, if I had to listen to my parents speak of each other in this manner.

I don’t remember ever having a phone you had to bring up to your eye to take a photo?

They both need a reality check! Earl procrastinates and does nothing and Opal is a snide belittler because she thinks she has to do it all!

Sometimes, I swear Mr. Crane has been peeking in our windows to get some material for his strip. We are an old retired, long time married couple that see ourselves in many of these comics. Read and laugh.

If I recall that when photography was in its infancy, the photographed subjects never smiled.

Why don’t people take a panoramic view instead of trying to squeeze everything into a vertical picture?

Give him Marilyn Monroe’s smile.

If she is taking a phot with her phone, why is she using it like an actual camera???

just turn him into Brad Pitt and be done with it x-p
