That’s the problem. When I try to think of an earworm, I never find one. The one that often gets me, however is https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VNEfuM0c7EM
Just to make it even better, when I get a song stuck in my head, it’s often not the actual song, but a bizarre parody I made up. Either that, or I feel compelled to mentally recite a song, only to be repeatedly frustrated when I forget the lyrics halfway through. Some days, I think my brain hates me.
Yesterday I happened to come across a few seconds of “Unwell” while scanning the radio dial (only because I was close to Canada and they have better radio stations). I woke up with that song running through my head. Ugh.
It’s not one song, but a genre: my work (a country/candy store) plays 50s and 60s, and I often have a 50s song in my head when I get home. I have to listen to music from this century to banish it.

And apparently, it also compels the victims to introduce E.W. to more people. Marigold didn’t have the willpower to resist picking him up.

If you have now gone to listen to Uptown Funk, you’ve just been earwormed by Dana Simpson. To make her life a little easier:

After you’ve been there, consider going here:

If you want to get “uptown Funk” out of your head just sing the Duck Tales theme. Problem solved.
