When we get deliveries, we usually put on a mask before answering the door. It’s always nice to see us both in a mask whether it’s FedEx, UPS, USPS, Instacart or Amazon Prime. But just the other day I completely forgot to put a mask on when the UPS guy knocked. Upon opening the door both of our eyes got wide when we realized NEITHER of us was wearing a mask. I can’t pretend to know what he was thinking (for all I know his reaction was to my super big afro I was sporting as I hadn’t had time to style my hair that morning) but it was still upsetting

I take my morning walks early when there aren’t many people out, keep a mask in my pocket just in case someone does try to talk to me
