I don’t know. An A+ for a dog eating his homework? When was the last time you saw a dog snub any food. Now if a cat ate his homework, that would be worth an A+.
My fellow worker was taking evening chef classes. She sometimes brought things to work for us to sample… and probably to say that “My co-workers ate my homework!”.
Too often cartoons like this are contrived to make it easy to read the writing on the door. This is a clever gag and also well-executed. Took me a moment to interpret the reverse letters, but I don’t mind working a little for a good laugh.

If you don’t understand the strip, just read the sign on the door.

Dogs eat anything, but if you got the cat to eat your homework, that would be impressive!

It’s as funny as I made my homework into a paper airplane and it got hijacked.

I wonder what type of a grade he would have gotten if he had Mikey eat it.

“Culinary Art” is lost on someone who cleans their backsides with their tongue

That should be worth nothing, considering I’ve seen a neighbor’s dog eating another dog’s crap.

Scott, I don’t know what planet you’re from, but if I ever find out, I’d love to visit. :-)

If the dog won’t eat it, it’s an F.

As a culinary arts teacher, I can tell you that in real life the students eat everything they create. They’re always hungry!
