3 – Pest control?

1 Bozo forgot not everybody is as strong as he is, so Bozann hung him out to twist in the wind.

2 Yep, Bozo’s very glad you dropped by.

3 Umbrella Guy’s a bigger pest than I thought.

1. Why, Bozo. You looks all washed up today. Heh heh.

2. Ah the old half door trick. Just one trick Bozo learns when he went as door to door saleman himself.

Brush Off: Umbrella guy has a distaff doppelganger; old lady with a potted plant on her head.

Family Closet: Holy Cow! He’s liable to pop up anywhere! Suggestion: Get a cedar closet.

1) Yes, I remember my mother getting dressed to the nines to do laundry….NOT! 2) Poor guy. He’s just trying to mane a living. 3) Who knew that the Umbrella Guy was also a moth inspector?

So, a hot foot. I have seen it in cartoons and comics all my life but I’ve never seen or heard of anyone doing it for real. I suppose it sort of fell out of fashion with lighters. I mean really, how do you flick your Bic between someone’s toes without getting clobbered.

1. Ah, the days when women wore hats to do laundry. Even in the commercials of the time, I don’t recall this as being a thing.

I just love number 3!

1. Bozo hung out to dry.

Ms Bozann has a nice Maytag Washer. Maybe she should have put Bozo through the wringer, for his antics. Our first house, our bedroom and kitchen was separated by a door like this…we called it a Dutch Door, my Mother In Law called it a Horse Stable Door.

Haven’t we seen the woman in strip #2, panel #2, before? Her hat seems to be from the Alice the Goon millinery collection over at Popeye.

1) CLEAN UP: Bozann finds Bozo hiding in the clean clothes is taken and washed like he was clothes too.

2) HOT FOOT: The Fuller Brush Man comes a knocking. Bozo uses the lower half of the door to light a match on the door salesman’s foot.

3) MOTH EATEN SPY: Bozo while spraying for moths Fuzzy comes running out of the closet!

1. Dang that laundry basket got heavy. Fortunately Bozette was strong enough to dunk Bozo and hang him out to dry.2. Wow, Fuzzy sighting about as close as he’s gonna get to Bozo…?3. …nope, even closer!!

1-Bozann wondered why the laundry basket was heavier than usual.

2-There’s gonna be a hot time in the old shoe tonight.

3-Bozo has just the right repellent for the rare Umbrella Guy moth.
