Sorry, Elmer, Bozo is the one who finally got Bugs Bunny.

1 Looks more like a buckeye.

2 Gee officer, Bozo was only trying to figure out the best method of getting the brick out of his way.

3 Must be poltergeists. Right Bozo?

Bull’s Eye: Probably funnier in its day than it is now. That would probably get you in some sort of hot water today. Hunting a) out of season, b) without a permit, c) on private property without the owner’s permission, d) a threatened animal, e) in a wetland or aquifer-recharging zone.

Watching: I don’t get it. Why would the cop be running for the call box just because someone tripped over a brick and picked it up? What am I not picking up on?

Caught: I swear, in panel one, I can see it wobbling, creeping toward the edge.

Such wonderfully drawn wonderful funnies. They never fails to cheers me up. Of course a big thumbs up, a big applause and three cheers for the marvellous master FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic evergreen entertainer BOZO!

1) For TV reception no doubt. 2) A sad portent of things to come. 3) And there was no cat to blame it on.

Bozo often hurls bricks at cops — Cop here is assuming this one is coming his way too.

1) ACCIDENTAL BULL’S EYE: On the hunt for small game, Bozo shoots near a bullseye and bags a rabbit!

2) TRIP AN ALARM: Bozo trips over a brick, picks it up and alerts a policeman who knows Bozo’s proclivities!

3) SAVE A LITTLE: Bozo notices a small vase on his mantle was falling and with cat fast reflexes catches it and in so doing destroys his rare Ming vase costing him big money.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. Bozo is the GoComics comic that consistently has the most comments per number of followers. I would challenge anyone to show otherwise. Bozo presently has 718 followers.
