1 Poor Bozo getting stuck with the bill when the poor other guy skedaddled on him before Bozo could. Jake ain’t happy about it but at least the dishes got washed.

2 Kid’s angry because his ball was nice and clean. Not like this one.

3 Bozo and Bozann about to go at it hammer and tongs.

1. Bozo not know he such a glutton and eat too much more than Bozo can pays.

2. Why what an ungrateful kid.

3. Wall, wall, what’s going on here.

And of course a big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers for the pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic evergreen entertainer by the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo, this magnificent masterpiece called BOZO!

1 & 2 that’s gratitude (not). 3. Talk about thin walls. And back when ladies wore hats and high heels when doing mundane chores (not)

Ball of Fire: I don’t know about you, but not only am I throwing the ball back down there. I’m taking his glove and sending it along for the ride.

Taps: I’ve seen some thin walls, but that’s ridiculous.

1) Kindness keeps Bozo’s hands clean. 2) Next time Bozo, let him cry. 3) Thin walls make bad neighbours.

1. Maybe Bozo was doing a good deed for someone less fortunate.

2. Bozo should take the kid’s ball and go home.

3. I think Bozo is about to get tapped, but good!

For you who don’t know, that’s Foxo Reardon pictured to the left, the creator of Bozo, in his earlier days. Bozo strips in background.

1 I don’t think “Sucker” is an appropriate caption here. The hungry hobo approached Bozo for a handout. Bozo took him into Jake’s instead, presumably to buy him a meal. As Bozo’s “guest” he has no obligation to wash dishes to pay for the meal(s). This was Bozo’s choice, so who got suckered?

2 Maybe this one should be called “Sucker.” Bozo was set up by the kid, who happens to be the son of one of Bozo’s cop targets.

3 Looks like Bozo was unhappy that Bozanne tried to hang a picture over his peep-hole.

1) Don’t you hate it when you take someone to dinner and forget your wallet?

2) This is when you take the ball and toss it over the fence “accidentally” (maybe that’s why it was down the sewer in the first place)

3) Sheesh. If they’re that thin, why didn’t she just talk thru the wall?

The first 2 show the compassion of BOZO, the 3rd shows Bozo could hang one of his pictures by using Bozann’s nail.

Incidentally, the bum ought to get a job with a circus, he’s got the clown outfit “nailed”

1) FREE LUNCH FOR A FREE LOAD : Bozo sees a hobo in need so he feeds him. However in leu of money is stuck washing the dishes!

2) EVERY GOOD DEED… : Bozo helps a crying child get his ball back but is angry it is now smelly and beans Bozo on the head!

3) NAIL IT : Bozann keeps getting her nail hit back out. She finds the culprit is Bozo!
