1 Who knew Bozann had such a streak of cruelty in her. Not Bozo.

2 Free money! Bozo ain’t about to let a big palooka foot that bill! (Behold the return of the flowerpot woman)

3 Should have insisted the pup join you on this one Bozo.

    1. Size does matter!

    2. But wits does matters more!

    3. Nonetheless it ain’t easy to de-flea-t a doggie.

There’s not a single day that me hasn’t liked Bozo. These best drawn best funnies are simply THE BEST! It’s all no words but all the fun in the beautiful world of Bozo.

And of course three cheers, a big hand, and big applause for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic evergreen entertainer BOZO!

And of course many thanks to Mr. Micheal Reardon and Go Comics for bringing back these lovely classics for all of us.

The bath was too full for Bozo to fit in, some water overflowed on the floor…

    1) Fuzzy car surfing on the rear spare wheel.

    2) Fuzzy running to nowhere like he likes to do often.

    3) And another activity that Fuzzy like, meditating sitting on the fence. No wonder he needs an umbrella all the time, to keep his balance…

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY! I have to wonder if there is anyone in Ireland who follows Bozo. Foxo Reardon’s paternal grandfather and grandmother both came from Cork, Ireland. Charles Reardon came over as a 10 year old lad. He joined the Union army at age 19 in July 1861 and fought with Company “A” 71th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry Regiment in all the major battles in the East during his three year enlistment. There were approx. 2,200 men in that regiment when he joined, but it was reduced to only 153 after the Battle of Cold Harbor. His name is on the ten foot granite monument to the 71th on the Gettysburg Battlefield. Ironically, my mother’s grandfather was the only Confederate soldier from Cold Harbor, that property owned by his father. So my two great-grandfathers fought against each other at Cold Harbor. And Foxo Reardon was born and raised in the Capital of the Confederacy: Richmond, Virginia. Happy St. Patrick’s Day to the Irish over there and over here in the U.S.A. and to all who celebrate the Feast.

    1. I guess you don’t have to be big to fall hard.

    2. That big guy never had a chance!

    3. Bozo and his pooch had to wash off the shame of defeat from strip #1.

Little Men- So much for the old saying “It’s not how big the dog in the fight, but how big the fight in the dog!” Poochie got thumped, same as Bozo! HEAD OVER HEELS- Bozo gives a course on slight of hand….now you see it, now it’s mine. FLEAS- Don’t throw the Poochie out with the bath water! Fuzzy is on the fence about the bath.

    1) I’LL SHOW YOU: Bozo wants to show to a beautiful lady his small dog is tougher than a Great Dane. “?” gets bopped hard spinning away. Takes the winds out of Bozo’s sails and they leave he embarrassed and the small dog angry and smarting!

    2) SHOE FLY YOU: Bozo and a larger man sees the money on the pavement. They both claim it. (The man with his shoe.) So, Bozo grabs the bill and the man’s shoe flipping it into big boy’s mug as he leaves!

    3) WHO TAKES THE DIP?: Flea dip time for “?” till a transfer takes place. Then Bozo must take the bath and kill all of the flees. “?” is now free of them!

I must admit that I am mystified by “Little men.” It is clear what is happening, but I can’t figure out why.

Panel 2 is the key. Bozo and Bowza (the two little men of the title) are each upset. Bozo is angrily lashing out at Bozanne while she displays cool indifference, and her big dog stares back calmly while he is being growled at. The behavior of a little dog challenging a bigger one is common (especially if the big one is leashed). But why is Bozo angry, and why does his mood change so quickly to embarrassment when Bowza doesn’t prevail in an impossible matchup? (danketaz mentions Bozanne’s “streak of cruelty,” for which I see no evidence.) What am I missing?

    1. “Beaten by great dane, how embarrassing!”

    2. “Hey bub! My dollar.”

    3. This reminds of a “Spongebob Squarepants” episode which Gary avoids taking a bath. After all that hassle (and silliness), Spongebob takes the bath.
