3 Well, the crook only asked for the wallet didn’t he?

Big shot: Hey, the real big shot has a wicked sense of humor.

Odd pairs: Looks to me as if Bozo found the matching mismatched set, and changed into those.

Contents removed: Something to consider: Did Bozo pocket the cash from his own wallet as a precaution ahead of time? Or did he just pick the robber’s pocket?

1. Boss suspected someone was stealing his cigars when he wasn’t around.

2. Bozo not only mismatches socks, but shoes too.

3. This is why me never just says “gimme your picanic baskets” but explicitly mentions “gimme all the food in your picanic baskets”.

Trapped. Tripped. Strapped. I hear robbers can force their victims to withdraw money out of the ATM now. …progress?

#2. I actually accidentally wore two different color shoes back in college. Same style, one navy and one black. I was mortified when I realized it, and ran all the way back to the dorm to change. No one ever noticed.

2. Today is opposite day, I meant to wear the opposite mismatched pair.

3. You specifically asked for the wallet. So I’m giving you just the wallet.

Odd pairs — (So I guess that refers to Bozo’s shoes, and not the two male couples, odd in 1951, in panels 1 and 4.)

I think Bozo came up with a great way to break in a new pair of shoes without pinching both feet at the same time.

#2: “That’s the second time this happened this week!”

1) If that’s how the boss treats his clients, it’s a wonder he stays in business.

2) Could have been worse. Could have been two left feet!

3) “I don’t get it,” says the robber.

1) CAUGHT YOU IN A BOOM!: Late night sweeper/cleaner Bozo decides to cop a cigar from the boss’s desk, but then sits right in the big boss’s chair when the cigar explodes in Bozo’s mouth! (The big man knew someone was stealing from him. So he made a trap. Not as good as a camera but more fun.)

2) MIX AND MISMATCH: Bozo is unique even among unique people everywhere. Besides his size and herculean strength he is eccentric like today. Some times he will not only mix his socks he will mix his shoes too!

3) SWITCH AND STEAL: Bozo is confronted again by a uniformed member of the Crime League, American branch to rob the cash box he is carrying. Bozo sleight of hand fools the crook while Bozo walk away with the cash, safe in hand.

1. It was an exploding cigar. Very “Looney Tunes”!

2. It reminded me of a “Brady Bunch” episode in which Marcia wore two different shoes while looking forward to her date with Warren Mullvaney.

3. “Show me the money!”
