All three strips today has some splendidly spectacular artwork by FoXo. The perspectives, the details, and everything is perfectly done.
Take your time and observe every panel of BOZO to enjoy it fully, me friends. For these wonderful wordless wonders are also the most pleasant picturesque pantomimes!
Each panel is like a picture of this beautiful three dimensional cartoon world of BOZO. The perspectives and details drawn by FoXo are so realistic and each panel appears like photographs of some real three dimensional cartoon world.
FoXo never needed his characters to utter a word to tell his funny tales and his BOZO never fails to bring splendid joy and sheer cheer.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
So today FoXo and BOZO need our words to spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to more!
…
And yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever excellent evergreen entertainer BOZO
1) If one of those roughnecks had kidnapped the “baby”, they would have gotten the ransom right away.
2) “Awww, Ma, can we keep it?”
3) That went over like a ton of bricks. I’m floored
Ms. Bozo has her hang-ups (and once again shows her super-strength). I swear these two are superheroes and we’re just watching the daily lives of their alter-egos.
1) BABY CARE: Wheeling a wicker baby carriage Bozo goes to the bank. The deference given is that all of those (including O’ Malley) thinks there is a child in there not bags of money!
2) WASH & DRY: Bozann doing the wash returns to drip dry finds Bozo in it and hangs him up too with the rest of the wash.
3) WEIGHTY PROBLEM: Bricklayer Bozo toting up bricks to the 2nd floor in a wheelbarrow finds he dumped too many bricks in one place. When he goes up again, he finds the floor caved in!
We get the chance to see some foibles and playfulness of humanity in Bozo. Sneaking in the wash and being carried home by Bozann then hung out to dry is funny. Bozo is pint sized but he is no child. Or in his bricklaying phase he doesn’t think about the weight involved to the loadbearing capacity of the second story and it caves in. He is nonplussed by it like anyone would be. Also, I know he knew better and just forgot. Also, very human.
Bozo is an interesting mixture of the regular Joe and a kind of superman with an indomitable will. Imagine an every man and superman rolled into one. That is out Bozo.
SPECIAL DELIVERY- Everybody loves Bozo the proud Papa, even Buttons, (this must have been when thieves and crooks had morals concerning children.) Last National Bank gets a deposit of the valuable “infants!” ALL WET- Ah the beautiful Bozann with freshly washed clothes carries a heavy load, guess she did not have enough change for the dryer. {I looked it up yes there were clothes dryers then.} UP AND DOWN- Bozo is a Brick Layer, not a Carpenter. {Actually he is a jack of all trades.}

1 Bozo’s baby buggy perambulates by bums, bluecoats, bad boys, and banks on it.
2 I hope Bozo’s clothes are as clean as the rest of the laundry, right Bozann?
3 Bozo better report that to the foreman…anybody seen him?

1) Good way to hang on to your money going through a rough neighborhood.
2) Come on, Bozann. you could’ve at least made him hang the laundry himself.
3) Either those are heavy duty bricks, or they just don’t make wood floors like they used to!

Bags of money with dollar signs on them is one of my favorite cartoon tropes.

Bozo is all washed up with Bozann. Maybe he was laundering that money he was babysitting. :)

That baby carriage is identical to the one my mother (Foxo’s wife) used to push my youngest brother around in.
