    1. Bozo all-vase so smart.

    2. The name’s Bozo. James Bozo. 003 and half.

    3. Bozo not expect getting pull-verised head.

And yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece, the most pleasant picturesque pantomime, the ever entertaining ever energetic ever enjoyable ever excellent evergreen entertainer BOZO!

For those who come in late, BOZO created by the tremendously talented FoXo Reardon who was a rare combination of both humorous wits and artistic talents. Coming from an era known as the golden age of cartooning, BOZO is nothing but pure gold, a rare gem which was hidden from so many for so long.

For these are excellent epitomes of pictures speaking thousand words where FoXo never needed his characters to say a single word to tell his funny tales but did it all using his awesome artwork alone where in every panel you feels like looking at photograph of a three dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details — so spelendid was his powerful perspective artwork.

And despite his health deteriorated with time with cancer and lost an eye, his work quality only got better and better till his last. A true professional and a true master, he may be lesser known but was in no way any lesser than any other great cartoonist.

For it no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today after so many decades and eras later.

But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.

Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many more!

Hollywood Art Director Philip Jefferies. was nominated for an Academy Award as Art Director of the 1973 motion picture “Tom Sawyer” which starred Johnny Whitaker, Celeste Holm, Warren Oates, Jeff East and Jodie Foster. From 1962 to 1986, Jefferies was Art Director of some thirty Hollywood motion pictures and nine TV production, until his passing at age 61 in 1986. A list of his 30 films can be found at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Philip_M._Jefferies from “The Manchurian Candidate” in 1962 to “The Mean Season” in 1985.

Backtracking to a warm night in April 1938, Philip Jefferies, age 12, wandered into the offices of the Richmond (Virginia) Times-Dispatch, one of the South’s leading newspapers. He had in hand his creation of a comic strip he names “Nicky.” Ignored in the hustle bustle of the night with looming deadlines, a voice then rang out, according to a full page article in the paper of May 1, : “Hey, just look at this wouldya?” Foxo was saying to anyone who would listen. “This boy is a wonder…why don’t you give him a story. Look at this drawing. It’s a knockout.”

Young Philip was then interviewed and his story published, with a photo of him and Foxo together, as a full page story in the magazine section the next Sunday, May 1, 1938. After that interview by the reporter, Philip had added:

“The main thing I wanted to say, though, is how much Foxo has helped me. He told me what kind of ink to buy and what kind of pen to get and I see all the difference in the world in my drawing. If you think this drawing of Nicky is good, you ought to see the one I’m going to make with the new materials. Besides, Foxo told me things to do to make my drawings reproduce better. I think he’s wonderful, and I hope I can draw half as well as he can one day.”

    1) At least Uncle Benny doesn’t turn Bozo away. And he doesn’t have to share the sale of the vase, iron, pan, and alarm clock with the Bristle Brush Company.

    2) No need to call the fire department, Bozo and his squirt gun have it under control!

    3) Dr. Pullem didn’t pull ’em hard enough!

Bozo is not just entertainment; it is also educational. The art, the use of action and expression, instead of verbal communication. FOXO Reardon created a world that is timeless.

    1) POSITIVE & NEGATIVE: Bozo tossed from his apartment with a few items. He takes them and gets money for them!

    2) THINGS AREN’T WHAT THEY SEEM: Bozo in the office senses something wrong. In the other room office, he finds a fire in the trash. He pulls his ‘gun’ and waters the fire gone.

    3) HARD INTRODUCTIONS: Bozo has a sore tooth is he so desperate to end it he ties the closing door method of extraction. It gets him in the office anyway!
