It always such a Splendid Sunday Funday with these fabulous fun funnies.
And why wouldn’t they be for these was created by the tremendously talented FoXo Reardon who never needed words to tell his funny tales and told em all with his awesome artwork alone.
An excellent evergreen epitome of picture speaking thousand words, BOZO a pure glorious gold coming from the glorious golden era of cartooning.
FoXo a rare combination of both sharp humourous wits and artistic talents which is so rarely seen together in the same cartoonist. Not only FoXo tells funny tales with his artwork alone but he makes looking at every panel of BOZO as if we is looking at photographs of a three dimensional cartoon world of realistic-looking depths and details. Such was his powerful perspective artwork which brought drawings to life, drawings that he drew on paper with his own hands.
And not to mention the facial expressions, body languages of characters and the scene setups which was all that did the work of telling the funny tales here without any characters ever speaking a single word. Also, FoXo’s work quality only got better with time despite his health deteriorating with cancer and the Fabulous FoXo delivered fabulous funnies till his end even after left with only one eye towards the end.
So it no wonder that these wonderful wordless wonders still bring great joy and sheer cheer to many even today after so many decades and eras later.
But despite being a great classic of great creative calibre, neither BOZO nor FoXo are much known or remembered these days.
Spread the word, friends, so that BOZO can spread more joy and cheer to many more!
…
And yes of course another big thumbs up, big applause, and three cheers once again for the marvellous master cartoonist FoXo’s magnificent masterpiece…
1. The hat didn’t suit the surly bald guy with rhinophyma, morning beard, and probably answered the door in his underwear.
2. A cozier alternative to the backless ‘thing’ they are about to toss a you. Offer her cash, lots of it.
3. Well… it might be considered a bit lucky. The car ran you ‘under’ instead of running you over. And it appears to be on the way to clocking the drive on the head, so Karma.
Were there still enough horses on the roads in 1955 that one could expect to find horseshoes lying in the street? Or is Foxo Reardon remembering 10 or 15 years earlier?

Oy! Either she’s a fast knitter or they’ve been waiting for hours‼️☹️
This horseshoe sure didn’t bring luck to Bozo!

1) That hat is smashing on you, Bozo!
2) If the wait is much longer, she might knit some pants for Bozo, too!
3) Luck is with Bozo, the traffic not so much.

1) CLOBBERED ON DELIVERY: Delivery Man Bozo brings a gift to the clown. COD angers the fellow he smashes it over Bozo’s little head!
2) TOO LONG A WAIT: Waiting-waiting-waiting and Bozo watches a lady makes a small item. Unknown time passes… Bozo sees the lady is making him a shirt!
3) UNLUCKY HORSESHOE: Bozo sees a loose horseshoe and picks it up in the middle of a busy street. Luck has nothing to do with the car hitting him!
