Most of them are full of something else.

Always full of promises. Results?

You can guess what the other half is full of.

All promises and do nothings.

Better talk polite than talk politics…(and as far as gender politics is concerned, always “pro missis”)

so Horace does that mean the other half is full of broken promises…?

“Promising young politicians” is not a natural-sounding phrase.

That’s not all they’re half full of…..

So, 50% less promises to break?

That’s being optimistic. Pessimistic would be thinking they are half empty of promises.

They’re always promising promises that they never keep. That’s why they’re promising.

They start with vast promises, which we later realize are “half-vast” promises.

If politicians promise to go away that might make me happy, but politicians always lie

Optimism is thinking they tell half-truths. Pessimism is thinking they tell half-lies.

Tell ya what they ARE completely full of . . .
