    This talk about worms has me remembering a Halloween of decades ago when I was a little kid. The homeowner (dressed as a witch) came to the door with two pots in her hands which she held high enough that you couldn’t see into them. “Worms or eyeballs” she said and you had to stick your hand into whichever you chose. (The “worms” were spaghetti and the “eyeballs” green grapes.
