A Do Not Think About button wouldn’t work. An experiment many years ago divided people into three groups. Group 1 was told to spend 5 minutes thinking about anything they wanted to, but they were specifically told not to think about a white bear. Group 2 was told to think about anything they wanted to, including a white bear if they so desired. Group 3 was told to think about anything they wanted to. No one in Group 3 thought about a white bear, several in Group 2 did, but everyone in Group 1 said they had thought about a white bear.
