I was afraid of needles until my cancer battle in 2010. I had to give myself 5 daily injections right in my belly, on for day for 5 days. But amazingly the needles were so thin that you did not even feel the smallest sting. It felt like I poked my stomach with the tip of my finger. Truth.
And I lost could how many times I had 1 or 2 IV needles in my arm. A good nurse could insert it and you’d hardly notice her doing so.
Not afraid anymore. Just don’t stick me with a sewing needle or stick-pin. THOSE hurt! ;-)
I had so many needles in me that when I walked into the lab the phlebotomist could recite my info from memory. I told her one day to just install a spigot.
Ooh I’ve been meaning to ask this since forever ago: Who exactly is Doctor Appleby?? I thought he was JoJo at first, but then I saw both of them in a camp strip and now I’m confused.
It might be interesting to know they’re trying to develop a nasal spray vaccination. https://www.webmd.com/vaccines/covid-19-vaccine/news/20210119/nasal-spray-vaccine-for-covid-19-in-early-trials

For me, it’s not the needles…It’s the ones holding the needles that give me concern…

I’m still afraid of needles, but I see we need to have shots if we want to live.

I’m not fond of needles, if given the choice I take the gun every time.

Not really afraid of most needles. Being diabetic it comes in handy.
