I was afraid of needles until my cancer battle in 2010. I had to give myself 5 daily injections right in my belly, on for day for 5 days. But amazingly the needles were so thin that you did not even feel the smallest sting. It felt like I poked my stomach with the tip of my finger. Truth.
And I lost could how many times I had 1 or 2 IV needles in my arm. A good nurse could insert it and you’d hardly notice her doing so.
Not afraid anymore. Just don’t stick me with a sewing needle or stick-pin. THOSE hurt! ;-)
