Largest ears? Ha, those scientists haven’t met my uncle Earl “Ultralight” McGillicuddy.

Take care, may night time runner Gordon Tinnitus Fencehoppord be with you, and gesundheit.

When I was a kid, it was claimed NASA’s Vehicle Assembly Building was the largest building in the world, measured by volume. But, looking at Wikipedia, today it might be the 6th largest, measured by usable volume. One of the larger buildings was completed the year after the VAB was completed. There is no completion date for some of the larger buildings.

If the V.A.B. were in the southwest it would have its own sandstorms likewise in Kansas-Nebraska, it’s own tornadoes.

The ears may be big but they can’t hear as much as our next door neighbor…

Nocturnal butterflies are also famous for the cussing about wind noise while they’re flying…

That seems counter productive for a building that is used to assemble advanced equipment

There are other buildings that “have their own weather.” Some of them are blimp hangars. The blimp hangars I know of were built before armed forces began using helicopters.

If you want to know YOU go back from whenever you first asked the question and read all the comments to find the answer. I remember Jason admitting to studying it but I’m not interested enough to find it. Do your own research.

That’s not a butterfly; that’s an Atlas moth.
