I cringe when I see my son and his wife spend on every toy and fad that’s comes along, but then I scrimped and saved all my life and now I wished I had been a little more free-spending when I was younger.

…. or … “This isn’t my dream. I’m still putting money away. I was planning to follow my dreams later.”

So… he’s an insurance adjuster…

Security through obscurity.

Sounds good to me. I have a real life outside of work, it is where my dreams really are.

There’s a slight difference between Eddie Money and Don Money.

I’ll bet he worked for Union Central Life Insurance.

Nobody has ever retired from a job and said, “I think I saved too much money.”

Are you sure those are dreams?

My dream is one day to post something funny on the GoComics comment section. One day … [SIGH]

Pragmatic dreams are the achievable kind.

I had to work all my life to get my dream job, retirement.
