Perhaps the reviewer had been introduced to the zombies through the early Romero films, which had some pretty heavy social themes

The last critic I paid any attention to was Roger Ebert, a guy who really liked movies and was moderately fair. At least he wasn’t trying to make me think he was smarter than the movie makers!

Well no wonder. You can’t learn how to raise your kids by watching Zombie movies. He needs to be watching Vampire movies.

Also a lot of the movies that are raved about by the “critic” stink!

If “TV” counts, he could try iZombie reruns.

Zombies with a Social Agenda… What a progressive idea, Zombies don’t think though, they just move blindly after anything not like them and try to destroy it, like Portland OR, Chicago IL, parts of New York, just to name a few.

I ran across a Christian movie review a while back and his review of Saving Private Ryan was hilarious.Violence – CheckPatriotism – CheckProduction Values – CheckValor – CheckLanguage – No check…he didn’t think American soldiers swore that much.

Not movie, but book: “Only Dead on the Inside: A Parent’s Guide to Surviving the Zombie Apocalypse” by James Breakwell (aka Xploding Unicorn). I haven’t read it, but it gets consistently good reviews.

my least favorite reviews are by people who complain that the movie didn’t go in the direction they feel it should go…. (person X didn’t get a fully-evolved backstory that was then part of the plot or the story should have dealt more with various, plot like irrelevant, social issues).

And once again, by default, Bucky proves to be the smart one.

Damn! This strip could have been written today. With the award shows have quotas now, they are totally worthless. On critics, I wait for the show to be out for at least a week and then look at the audience reviews on Rotten Tomatoes to determine if it’s worth going to.

I see they solved the “white scalp” issue by giving Rob a hat instead.

Man! If he thinks those are annoying, he should read the comments on a comic strip site!
