I think that is pretty much the first step to a “hand me down” or a garage sale. At least it is in my house. I get an urge to look for stuff I haven’t used in a while and then get rid of it. Of course, within a week, I need it.
Wait, so how old is this Liz daughter? A few weeks ago we find she is the age of wearing a training bra, and here she is a 7-year-old playing with dolls and having a toy tea party!
My daughter took apart her Barbie house and put away all her Barbies when she was in the ninth grade. That large box ended in the basement, because she said she was keeping it for her children… Our older daughter had kids first, so when her nieces were old enough to play with it, it is back in its old place, and when they come to visit, she’s right there with them…
I am 50 and would probably play nicely with my childhood toys once more if the chance arose! Whoever no longer possesses an ounce of childhood is to be pitied, because it keeps you young, creative, and fun.
Elizabeth should be thankful she does not have the mother from FoxTrot. That woman is nagging her kids to stop playing with toys and do nothing but homework. She also has a deep hatred of gaming.

Don’t be in a hurry to grow up. You’ll look back someday and see it was the best time in your life.

In a Toy Story world, all those toys just had their best day in years.

The childhood equivalent of looking through old family photographs. Is that still a thing in this day and age of ephemeral electronic images?

I love when kids are walking the line between being KID kid and being and older kid

If that is April with Liz, April is looking seriously much older by comparison to the last comic appearance only a week ago.

It’s truly bittersweet to see the grandkids growing too old to play with old favorite toys but knowing they’re growing up.

Is it too convoluted a sentence that they are “going thru all the stuff she used to not play with anymore”/

So true!!! This one brought back memories….

Sometimes you just need someone else to remind you why it used to be fun.

If this is supposed to be April, she seems to have grown up quite a bit since her last appearance in the strip.

Elly has her head on backwards! Did she suffer the same accident that befell Skroob in Spaceballs?
