Dealing with health insurance claims appears to resemble aging from teen to adult and to take about the same length of time. And the end result is never certain.
So glad I live in Canada. My wife has had two bouts of cancer, uterine, which involved a major operation and hospital stay. Then the following year breast cancer, a couple of ops then radiation treatment every day for five weeks. My cost? Hospital parking.

Must be a third world $h!ithole country without national health or single payer. I prefer minor surgery like Dr Pimple Popper.

Republicans* live in fear of single payer health care — bureaucrats making decisions that affect their care, etc.
And worse, someone who cannot afford it, might receive heath care.
