Might as well put it in park…you’re gonna be there awhile.Toshie would lick and lick (usually private parts) , we would finally throw wadded up newspaper at her to get her to stop.
Last night we had a windstorm, I finally looked out the window at 5 AM and saw the recyclable can with the top flapping and the garbage can tipped over. Of course it was trash day. Went out in my pj’s to pull the cans up to the garage. The neighbor’s trash was blowing all over the street. Kat found our empty charcoal bag down on the corner, a full block away! I’ll be picking paper out of the flower beds for a week.Barb (Queen) had wind also. She is 2 hours east of me.It was 64 degrees today, , going up to 91 on Saturday. I’m so not ready for that!.
I can relate to this bear’s feelings. I get irritated too when the light turns green and the car in front of me doesn’t move. They’re probably texting instead of paying attention to the lights. Monday night, I saw a driver who was waiting for his left turn arrow and when he got it, he just sat there. He was to my left, not in front of me, so I had no reason to honk at him. My light was still red. But this person sat so long, the light turned red and then he finally turned left, against the red light.
From yesterday’s comments about cat t-shirts – I used to have one with paw prints all over it that said “My cat walks all over me” but that shirt wore out and I don’t have it anymore. I got 5 or 6 cat t-shirts for Christmas last year, but it’s still sweatshirt weather so I haven’t worn those t-shirts yet
It was super windy today in MI. I was waiting for my groceries to be delivered to my car, and watched a woman carrying returnable cans in 3 open brown paper bags!!! She was managing it until she had to open the door to the Can Return. She lost her grip on one bag and the cans FLEW out and rolled all over the road and grass to the east. I give her credit for trying to pick them up. After a few minutes a young couple ran up and helped her get them all. Good Samaritans for sure.
I had my physical yesterday and the wind was hellatious! When I got to the clinic, had trouble keeping my door open so I could get out of the truck. It slammed into my leg when I was getting in and when I left.
Ran down to the dollar store – same thing. At the checkout, the lady in front said she lives in Washington and they never get this kind of wind. Washington is the next town over.
Pat, the cashier, is one I used to play bunco with and we told her yep – when you drop down into the valley right by WM, it will hit you like a ton of bricks. I held the store door open for an old lady behind me and the wind nearly knocked her off her feet. When I got in the truck to leave the store, the door slammed and caught my hair in it. I had to open the door and get it out.
I was going to take the stuff to the recycle bins but it will have to wait.
I fully expect to get an email from the HOA manager listing things that blew into people yards and for the owners to claim them. There will be everything from door mats to bbqs.
Grooming himself? Reminds me of the time I was sitting in line at a tollbooth on the way to work & saw the guy in the next line using his electric razor. 8-D

Here a Maine Black Bear question for Garth Snow geese:
What if Patrick Roy named each of the ten pucks that got past him in his last Montreal Canadien game after the ten cats?
“them ten cats get slippery sometimes…’

OT:
Hi Orb!
I’m back from the hospital again, only to read of Bob’s sad news.
It’s my heart once again, so please send some boops, prayers, good wishes and head bumps my way.
I was going to apologize for not trying to contact Bob, only to read of the bad news.
Well, I’m off to read all my “backed up” comics that I’ve missed.
Hopefully, I’ll catch up soon.

Waiting behind that cat must be unbearable! (Sorry about that.) On another note, saw six robins, a junco, and three rabbits while out walking today.
