What would it be like to eat and eat high calorie stuff, way past being stuffed and way, way more than you actually want to, all day long, every day; and still be so close to underweight that your Doctor recommends a high calorie diet (HAH!) ? Hell!

Sorry Macushlalondra, I didn’t mean to be snarky, but having such a high metabolism that your body constantly needs sustenance is much more difficult than you might think, just imagine the grocery bill!

This is just another example of people wanting what they don’t (and in this case, probably, can’t ) have

Hyperthyroidism can do that for you. I lost over 30 pounds in one month eating everything I could get my hands on. The cruddy part was that it increased my heartrate and everything else as well. Walking up a flight of stairs made me feel like I’d run a marathon. Doctor gave me radioactive iodine and now I have to fight to lose weight. I wish I could have settled somewhere in the middle with the metabolism thing.

The advantage of being a man - we eat whatever we want and don’t CARE if we gain weight…
