Another homeschooling advantage for me: As a Muslim, I’m extra tired during Puasa (fasting) Month because I have to wake up early for Sahur (like lunch but in the very early morning). Now that I don’t have to go to an actual school where you have to stay awake the whole day, I can nap any time I want, except during Buka (dinner to break the fast)..

So all it is is spam lol, I don’t know if you remember but before (especially in summer 2020) this comment section was beautiful! now I see spam. I’m just thinking if we stop spamming we can have that actually good Big Nate comment section that other comment strips will want! I have no idea why but the moderators are not doing a thing to stop this, this means we have to, and we can! Sooo please please please stop spamming it helps nobody, its useless, your going to be the most hated person on this wiki, and you could get banned (which I hope you do if you spam).

BIG NATE AND THE BET: Part 19

Nate slid commando-style through backyards, front yards, and several bushes the rest of the way to Dee Dee’s house. A few hours later, he finally reached his destination. He walked up the steps of the front porch and rang the doorbell. Dee Dee opened the door and gasped. Nate looked like he just barely got out of a fight. His clothes were torn in several places, twigs and leaves were stuck in his spiky hair, and he was bleeding from several cuts on his face, arms, and torso.

After getting over her initial shock, Dee Dee managed to ask, “What the heck happened to you Nate? You look like you were attacked by a lawn mower!” Nate looked down at himself and blushed with embarrassment. “Its nothing, just fell down the stairs this morning.” Dee Dee raised an eyebrow as she looked at the various assortment of leaves and twigs in Nate’s hair. “Uh huh. C’mon in and I’ll help you get cleaned up.” “You don’t need to do that,” Nate said as he walked in. “Its the least I can do.” Dee Dee replied.

They walked into the bathroom, and Dee Dee began rummaging through the medicine cabinet. Nate sat down on the toilet lid and waited. “Nate, I need you to take off your shirt.” Dee Dee said as she continued to go through the cabinet. “What? No way.” Nate said. He began to feel his ears turn red. “Nate, if I’m going to help you with those cuts, I’m going to need you to take your shirt off.” Nate blushed with embarrassment again, but begrudgingly complied. Dee Dee got out of the medicine cabinet and approached Nate with Neosporin, Band-Aids, cotton balls, and cleaning alcohol.

She began by helping Nate pluck the leaves and twigs out of his hair. Then, she started to treat his cuts. Nate flinched every time the alcohol touched one of his cuts, but soon he got used to it. But Dee Dee was just inches away from his face, her ponytail occasionally brushing against his body as she treated his wounds. Nate began to feel a tingly sort of feeling crawl all over him.
