    This 50 year old argument is just coming to Richmond VA and is beginning to get stoked up by the anti’s, while pro’s are making great promises of the increased tax intake and the many ‘benefits’ to be derived from them. And, curiously enough, there has recently begun a blitz of ads on the major networks for online betting from major money grubbers.

    Basically, the unseen theme line goes _Line up, Suckers, and put your money to work. Your eventually overwhelming personal debt will form the basis for great improvements in your community. Lots of bankruptcy sales, changes of address, credit scores, and life style. Laugh, Clown, laugh.)

    Now the lotteries, in which possible great winnings are pie-in-the sky dreams, will have competition from the Play now Lose now brigades.

    we have a lottery and casinos that were supposed to go to the schools but they have never seen anything from it specifically, because the legislature controls the money that comes in.

    Casanova invented the state lottery which helped pay for the excesses of Louis XIV. Unfortunately, Casanova was fired when he started skimming the take.
